Owen River Lodge are offering a free Sage Z-Axis 5-weight trout rod for bookings made for either December 2010 or March 2011. These are both excellent times to fish but sometimes quieter months at the lodge. This offer is for one free Sage rod based on two people booking a shared room for a 7 night stay with a minimum of 5 guided days fishing. Fishing is based on two fishermen to one guide. Free Sage rods are limited and will be allocated when firm bookings are received. 

The 2009/2010 saw a very successful season at Owen River Lodge with it being one of the fabled 'mouse years'. The beech trees had a bumper crop of beech nuts which in turn led to an explosion in the mouse population which the trout got fat on. 5lb fish soon turned into 7lb fish and 7lb fish soon became double digit trophies.

A 7-night and 5-day guided fishing trip based on a shared room costs from £2,550 per person. 

A 4-night and 3-day guided fishing trip based on a shared room costs from £1,475 per person. (Free Sage not included).
