Fly Fisher Travel

Mozambique

Mozambique is a beautiful country with a long, unspoiled coastline of sandy beaches, palm trees and warm seas.

The saltwater fishing is exceptional, particularly in and around the Bazaruto and Quirimabas Archipelagos. Sailfish, marlin and yellowfin tuna are the targets of the bluewater fisherman, while those fishing closer inshore can expect to catch giant trevally, other trevally species (or kingfish), queenfish, barracuda, pompano, bonefish, jobfish, wahoo, dorado, and many more.

Mozambique is accessed easily from South Africa or Tanzania and although still relatively undeveloped, there are many regional airports along the coastline.
