Alphonse Island

Reduced Prices for the 2010/2011 Alphonse Season

The fishing from Alphonse Island is closed from May to October but the great news is that prices will be reduced for the season beginning in October 2010.

The previous price of $7,350 per rod per week has been reduced to $6,200 for the land package and an additonal $690 for the charter flight. A total of cost of $6,890. Comparing like for like a saving of $460 over the previous season.

Alphonse Island is extremely competitively priced given the quality of the accomodation (single rooms for each rod in the quoted price) and outstanding fishing. As an example of how good the fishing is, there were a number of first time saltwater fishers who travelled with Fly Fisher Travel who landed well in excess of 10 bonefish in their very first morning on the flats. There is nowhere else quite like Alphonse.
